A Mother's Feelings

These few days  ada a viral post of a newborn baby yang tali pusatnya was infected to the point sampai ada maggots. There were a few versions of stories:

1. ibunya takut untuk membersihkan tali pusat anak
2. bidan/ibu/ibu mertua telah menyapu minyak gamat on the tali pusat

And of course there were so many reactions from other mothers towards this picture. And I was really surprised with some of the comments thrown to the mother of this poor baby (which latest update was that the baby has passed away, إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ‎).

This is definitely not the time to blame the mother. We don't know what had happened, hence there's no need to criticized her. She had just delivered her baby, and it might not be her pun yang mandikan and siapkan her newborn baby. It was a leson learn for all mothers and bidans/kakak yang mengurut and mandikan newborn babies.

Sebagai tanda hormat to the mother and baby, I'm not going to post the picture. Semoga ibunya tabah menghadapi dugaan dari Allah.
